Things NOT in the Bible Good Bible study – good reading, for that matter – depends on paying attention to the text.
Sometimes things we THINK are there (or expect to be there) simply aren't there.
InkMan will name his next child after you if you can find any of the following in the Bible:The "apple" that Adam and Eve ate
"Three" wise men who visited Jesus
Jesus' birthdate (or even, that the church should celebrate His birth)
Infant Baptism
The quote, "Cleanliness is next to godliness."
Any church listed in the section about twisted teachings
Salvation by faith only (That's demon faith -- a dead faith.)
Solomon leading an army into battle (That's Hollywood, Kevin!)
The Sinner's Prayer (We can't use the man in Luke 18 as an example, for the same reason mentioned concerning the thief on the cross. See The "Question Corner.")
